My first official post for this site would not begin in another 4 months or so. But I have to save everything I've written in Multiply. Now I share with you my 2009 memoirs - my post that started everything.

2009 passed swiftly! Sobrang bilis parang hindi ko maramdaman na 2010 na pala. Pero kahit na sobrang bilis nito, it is during this year that the best memories of my life so far happened.
January - my birth month! It is a special year since finally (or unfortunately ba?), hindi na ako teen! :D First year towards real adulthood! At bilang pinakamatanda sa Ptolemy (3rd year HS section ko), ang kaarawan ko ay hudyat na rin ng hindi niyo mapipigilang pagtanda. Haha! Special din ang celebration ng birthday ko dahil sinurprise ako ng bestfriend ko. Exactong 12 midnight pumasok siya sa room ko na may dalang cheesecake na siya mismo ang nagbake! :D tnx!
February - SOM sportsfest! First time kong makipaghabulan sa isang biik na sobrang siksik at sobrang liit.
March - Successful OpMan defense at super fun trip to Bulacan for Indus Chem! Saya pumunta sa farm nila Cookie dahil marami akong naexperience na bagong bagay (tulad ng sumasabog na kung ano kapag tinapon mo sa tubig).
April - syempre, who would forget the Bolinao/Alaminos trip? First out-of-town escpade ng Ptolemy (Sunrise people at least. haha). 3 days of paradise and chilling out! Best summer experience ko with friends to date! Bohol next d b? Haha! Pareserve na ba ng tickets para makamura? Tapos deretso tayong Cebu! :D :D
May - internship at Salinas (IM) Corp, the largest salt-producing company in the Philippines! Met great and exciting people. Coincidentally pa, ang salt farm nila ay nasa Bolinao kaya nagkaroon ulit ako ng chance bumalik doon during our plant tour. Sakto naman, dumaan ang mata ni typhoon Emong sa Bolinao. Sobrang lakas nawarak yung roof nung tinutuluyan naming rest house. It was my first time to really experience a typhoon's wrath.
June - MAC trip to Subic! Memorable since first time kong magouting na kasama ang kabilang block! Saka frisbee sa beach! :D At first month na huli kong taon sa Ateneo at huling taon ko bilang isang mag-aaral.
July - Harry Potter 6! Ang pinakahihintay kong movie sa taon na ito. Sobrang excited ko nagcountdown na ako three hours before magstart! Haha. Pero kahit hindi ko masyadong nagustuhan yung movie ok lang kasi finally napanood ko na rin. Ang babaw pero ganyan talaga kung since 11 ka pa lang Harry Potter fan ka na! Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 sa November 2010! :D May trailer na rin sa YouTube!
August - pinakahighlight ata ito ng 2009! 9 days in Seoul, South Korea for the Global Leadership Program. Or more like a legal excuse to have a vacation during class time! 5 days lang talaga yung actual program! So yung 4 extra days namin ay puro pamamasyal lang talaga. Ok lang, excused naman kami for 9 days! :D First time ko sa Seoul and it was a really great experience. I was able to meet people from different countries (Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea) and make new friends.
September - typhoon Ondoy/Ketsana ravaged our country and it was the first time that almost 80% of Metro Manila along with other neighboring provinces got flooded. We were lucky to be one of the few that were not badly affected by the typhoon. Climate change na to mehn!
It was also during this time that my mom who works in Dubai surprised us all by going home unexpectedly. She was sent by the Dubai International Financial Center (where she works) to represent the company's relief operations here in the country. She was chosen since she was the one who led the campaign in the company to raise funds for the typhoon victims. :D Kahit one week lang siya dito, sobrang masaya ako kasi more than 1 year ko na siya di nakikita.
October - voter's registration! bilang isa ako sa mga nagcram magparegister, kailangan kong pagdusahan ang sobrang habang pila na tumagal ng 9.5 hours! Haha. Pero worth it kasi finally registered na ako!
November - mass production ng MomsMade mayonnaise! Haha. Kahit mahirap gumawa, ang saya ng feeling na binibili at nasasarapan ang mga tao sa producktong ikaw mismo ang gumawa.
December - Ateneo Intercollegiate Marketing Seminar! Super hectic, super stressful pero super fun! New experience for me. Saka syempre ang Ptolemy Christmas party/reunion 2009! Ang saya lang na halos completo kami at nakita ko ulit ang mga taong hindi ko nakita ng halos 4 na taon! Sana nga may "One More Time" pa.
That's 2009 for me! Daming first time experiences maganda man o masama. With 2009 gone, ito naman ang mga inaabangan ko from 2010 onwards:
2010 - 21st bday! Graduation! Travel with family! Bohol trip!
2012 - End of the world
2015 - Paris trip ng GC lane!
2020 - first world na raw ang Pilipinas
2025 - isa na akong octodad! :D
2069 - taon ng aking pagkamatay ayon sa isang website.

So this is my post exactly lifted from my Multiply site. Reading it terribly gave me a laugh because I used to write quite differently. I was really tempted to edit or even remove some of the passages but figured it's best to leave it untampered. And well, I think this is proof that I have indeed matured over the years! Haha!
Too bad though that all pictures posted with this journal are no longer available at Multiply.
